In Chile`s western Patagonia the Balseros (boatmen) of the Baker river are in danger of losing it`s ways of living as the last families that live on logging (only dead trees logging permitted by law) move their production using the river as a highway. Natural landscape are threaten by the "Hidroaysen Project", a $3 billion dollar project which plans to build five dams in Patagonia rivers, two of them in the Baker river, flooding thousands of hectares and building a 3.000 km. long...
